It is an online service that helps a user find the right therapist and take care of one’s mental health at home.
This service enables users to find psychotherapists they need and have therapy sessions online without commuting or skipping appointments during trips.
Therapists are going to like the platform too, as online sessions don’t require renting an expensive office.
The app idea came from an entrepreneur and a practicing therapist — their healthcare business experience and psychotherapy expertise turned to be a perfect match for the project. They contacted us for design and development services.
My Therapy Assistant exists as a mobile app and a web app. A psychotherapist and their client see different UI versions, as they need different functions.
A client registers via their email, sets therapy goals, and selects a therapist via the Search.
If the client is not sure about their goals, they can answer a few questions and select one of the goals the service offers.
Besides, they can “talk” to a chatbot that gives a list of relevant therapists after the “conversation”.
One can use all the tools right during the session while the video call is in the background mode.
The service contained a few standard medical app flows. Here we had no problems getting clients’ approval and designing.
A simple geometric Sans-serif typeface is perfect for headings and the text itself.
The accents are purple, so they match the clients’ logo. We selected a discreet but joyful shade of purple. The rest of the color scheme is neutral, so the UI doesn’t look flashy.
We did our best to create a neutral and minimalist design. At the same time, we avoided hospital austerity.
Integrating the app with the HealthCode platform was the most challenging development stage. This service enables insurance payments for therapy services.
We had to puzzle out the British medical insurance and stay in touch with the HealthCode support during the entire integration process.
30 therapists and over 1000 users have registered on the platform.
