What now?
Cubbiq is thriving — Singaporean users are very pleased with it.
Rent as much space as you need. If you want, you can rent it alongside other tenants.
Our clients wanted to conquer the Asian market by creating an analog of Stashbee service for Singapore, which is a very popular service in the USA.
They’re entrepreneurs with experience of doing business in the U.S.
Our team evaluated the price of all features with our clients. But the amount of features exceeded the budget and didn’t fit the timeline.
We made a spreadsheet with all of the features, looked through it with our clients and decided which ones to keep and which to remove. In the end, we removed
By removing some of the features, we saved ~80 hours of development time and fit into the budget. The clients agreed with us.
We created our design concept with, a green interface. However we had to change this color, because in Asian cultures green is associated with deception and cunning.
After delving into the cultural aspects of colors and their meanings in Asian culture, we settled on red. Because in Asia, it’s associated with wealth.
This problem resurfaced, however. Singapore is a country with a lot of Europeans, and for most of them red is associated with mistakes and aggression. So, in the end, we went with a bright orange — the clients thought it was a great choice
We estimated that the web-app development will take 1,450 hours — 6 sprints in total.
After QA phase was finished, we fixed all the major bugs, before the release in October.
Even now, our team continues to work on Cubbiq — we help with support and maintenance.
In the future we want to integrate new features — for example, the ability to deliver belongings between tenants and landlords.
