How We Designed and Made Landing Pages for a Medtech Client. Artromed and MedEquip Case

As a rule, businesses and startups usually ask us to design and develop web and mobile apps, but we can also create cool landing pages!

Recently, we have made a promo site for MedEquip — a medical equipment distributor. We designed and built a landing page and wrote texts. Later, the client asked us to make a landing page for another business: the Artromed medtech startup. In this case, we’ll tell you about our design solutions in more detail and also explain why we don’t support the “anything for your money” principle.

Context: the client’s request

MedEquip supplies high-tech medical equipment and tools. Also, they produce custom medical instruments for doctors. The company targets the UAE market.

The client needed a stylish promo site. In this niche, much is based on face-to-face meetings and networking. However, a one-pager with contacts and a description of the company’s services and products will help establish communication with potential business partners.

The client didn’t plan to use the landing page for sales. First of all, they needed the website to build trust in the business and facilitate communication.

The main wish was this: bright design and use of website kits instead of custom development. The reason is simple — this solution helps promptly make edits if the client wants to correct anything in content, for example, after transferring the project.

Take a look at the finished website for MedEquip.

We finished the project in three weeks, and the client immediately asked us to create a landing page for their other business — the Artromed medtech startup. The company operates in the local market, distributes medical equipment, and manufactures its own products.

This time, the client asked us to develop a classic marketing landing page to help promote the business.

We got two completely different projects — and for a reason. 🙂

Our tasks

In both cases, we worked on the entire cycle of creating the landing page — from design to preparing texts and placing the finished landing page on the domain.

Our tasks in the projects

It took us 60 and 64 hours to make the landing pages for MedEquip and Artromed, respectively. Below, you’ll see the details and the result of the work 👇

A modern and bright landing page for MedEquip

The client wanted a catchy design with a bright color palette. This solution would help the product stand out among the competitors. This is what the landing pages of other medical equipment providers look like. The client wanted something fresher and more relevant. 🙂

First, we created mood boards — decide on the colors, design elements, and a concept. We took the client’s wishes into consideration and selected eye-catching references.

Moodboards

We offered two options: a dark theme with neon colors and a light theme with pastel shades

The client liked both variants, so they settled on a mix: they took a light theme with bright colors from the first mood board.

The color palette of the landing page

he color palette contains a combination of purple, pink, and blue colors

Here’s the result:

The MedEquip hero page

The hero page contains the key information about the company, the CTA button, and a lot of space. We added optical illusion: look closely, it looks like the lines are moving. 🌊

The next section briefly describes the company’s services and products. If a potential client wants to find more information, we suggest they fill out the form and send a request.

The block structure of the landing page

We suggested using a clear and easy-to-scan block structure and avoiding long texts with detailed descriptions of all the distribution stages

The landing page itself consists of four blocks — it’s enough to provide the key information and highlight the benefits of working with MedEquip.

Why we invite clients to call meetings instead of just sending links to finished mockups via a chat 📢

Let’s describe a common situation: our clients are really busy, and it seems that they have no time for weekly calls with our team.

It was the same in this project. The client asked us to send links to the results in the chat because they had no time for calls. At some point, this seemed like a perfect time-saving solution. But nothing saves time, like discussing intermediate results via Zoom.

Here are the reasons why we invite clients to calls instead of sending mockups in a chat:

– Our manager explains why we selected this or that solution and immediately answers questions — this saves time on edits.
– The real-time feedback helps avoid lengthy discussions in chats and speeds up the work.
– It’s easier to record agreements and next steps — they won’t get lost among dozens of messages.

These arguments convinced our client, and they booked time slots for short calls once a week. It turned out that we fit into 10-15 minutes and had time to discuss everything. 🙌

A discreet and technological landing page for Artromed

Our client launched a new direction in business: custom development of medical equipment. Doctors describe their ideas and tasks, and Artromed engineers turn them into prototypes.

The client wanted the design to reference science and technology and combine it with a more “serious” color palette. At the same time, they liked the bright MedEquip landing page. We took these wishes into consideration and prepared the design concept in two color palettes.

Two design options

And… the client liked both variants! 🙂 They liked them so much that they considered the option of switching between two themes. However, instead of the usual light and dark options, the app would offer the bright and black-and-white UIs.

At first, the idea may seem cool. For starters, it’s beautiful 🙂 Also, we give a user an opportunity to choose between different palettes. But this option doesn’t work well — and here is why:

Why the two-theme solution didn’t work for us

We suggested choosing one concept. We could also implement the feature that allows users to switch from the light theme with bright accents to the dark theme with yellow accents. However, the second option would require 10 extra hours to design and build.

Of course, we could follow the “anything for your money” principle and develop a switcher between two different color palettes. But this would contradict our approach. 🙂 We are on our client’s side and offer solutions that save them money.

So, after discussing this with the client, we decided to go with the B&W design.

The Artromed hero page

It’s a hero page with clear messages — what the company does and how customers can benefit from it. We highlighted the CTA button. In the design, we used medical-themed photos to prepare users for interacting with a high-tech product.

In the landing page structure, we used the following block sequence:

    • the screen with a photo, header, and CTA
    • the description of a product
    • cases
    • benefits
    • business partners
    • feedback form

Just recently, at the request of our client, we repainted the black-and-white landing page bright, using the combination of purple and pink from the first concept. But here, we chose darker shades.

Result

It took us 124 hours to design two landing pages. The client was pleased with the result — they got exactly what they needed. In the future, these landing pages can be used as a basis for a full-fledged website with a product catalog and other features — we discussed this perspective.

It’s too early to discuss the results because we recently finished working on the project. However, we are sure that the landing pages will attract an audience and help the client increase their reach.

➡️ It doesn’t matter if you need a mobile app for 200,000 users or a landing page for a new product — we approach every project with attention to detail. We develop modern, stylish, optimized websites and web apps your audience will like. Contact us if you need a design. We’ll discuss the task, select the best solution, and immediately estimate the timeline and budget.
